Our most popular range is the Cormar range of carpets. They are luxurious in feel and come in a wide variety of styles and colours.
Loop Pile Carpet
In a loop pile carpet the yarn forms loops on the surface of the carpet, either in uniform height, creating a level loop pile, or with differing heights creating a textured loop pile. Variations include a rustic tweed style loop known as a Berber which contains highlight flecks. Wool loops are a popular alternative to coir and sisal floors because they have the added comfort, warmth and durability of natural wool.
A short, tight loop pile may not be the most comfortable underfoot but resists flattening and marking, making it ideal for stairs and heavy traffic areas in your home.
Twist Pile Carpet
Our popular Twist pile carpets are made from yarn that has been tightly twisted and set to form a pile with a slightly textured surface. The Twist piles are produced in both lovely heather colours and well as plain (natural heathers use a combination of complementary coloured fibres to obtain a tonal effect). Generally the woollen parts are 80/20 in these wool twist carpets making them versatile, hard wearing and are popular for use throughout the house particularly on hallways and landings. Saxony Carpets
The difference with these Saxony carpets are that they are tightly twisted cut piles that are heat-set straight. the carpets consist of two or more fibres twisted together in a yarn. If you look closely you will see that the tips of the fibres remain very distinct and create a soft texture and elegant finish. These softer carpets show every footprint and vacuum-cleaner marks so are ideally suited to more occasional rooms in the home. Choosing a more textured variation will improve the practicality.
